Dr. Seiko Min trained in Periodontics and Implant therapy in Japan and US. He is currently a director of the Preceptor Periodontics Program of School of Dentistry at the University of Texas at Houston.

In 2009, he earned a PhD degree in bone biology at Nihon University, Tokyo, Japan and completed Advanced Periodontology and Implantology Residency Program at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California in 2014. He has received prestigious awards by the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Osteology Foundation. In 2018, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Dental Hygiene at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

He has published many scientific peer reviewed papers and is an internationally renowned lecturer, best known for his work in the field of oral plastic surgery, “Gum Recession Therapy” utilizing innovative approach. Dr. Min’s research focuses on Tissue Engineering, as well as Clinical Research, including soft tissue graft, bone graft, regenerative therapies in Periodontics, and Implant Dentistry.
