Sébastien Lévesque, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he focuses on advancing research in molecular medicine and biotechnology. His work builds on a strong foundation in gene editing technologies, including base editing and prime editing, as well as expertise in flow cytometry and cellular analysis. Lévesque earned his PhD in Molecular Medicine from Université Laval, where he conducted research at the CHU de Québec – Université Laval Research Center (CRCHUQ). During this time, he also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, contributing to the training and mentorship of students in biomedical sciences. Earlier in his career, he gained industry experience through biotechnology internships at the Technology Access Centre in Bio-Innovation and the Biorefinery Technology Scale-up Centre in Canada, where he developed applied skills in bioprocessing and innovation.
