Scott P. Pentiuk MD, MEd

Dr. Scott P. Pentiuk is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Gastroenterology at the University of Cincinnati. He works with the interdisciplinary feeding team at Cincinnati Children's. His lifelong interest in science led him to become a doctor. he chose medicine because it let him solve problems and help children. He found pediatric gastroenterology appealing as it encompasses so many aspects of children’s lives, including nutrition.

He embraces a team approach to care. He believes his patients and families are a part of that care team. As an educator and the fellowship training director for the Division of Gastroenterology, He teaches future doctors how to use the team model.
