Scott Sorenson, M.D., is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who cares for children at the Children’s Health℠ Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He treats a wide range of bone and musculoskeletal issues, including sports injuries, scoliosis, broken bones, and limb deformities.

Dr. Sorenson graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine. He completed orthopedic surgery residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and then a subsequent fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery with Children’s Orthopaedics of Atlanta at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Scottish Rite hospital, one of the nation’s busiest trauma, spinal deformity and sports medicine centers.

He joined Children's Health Andrews Institute after working as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery in the Penn State Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. As a faculty member at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center he received high marks as an outstanding instructor for orthopedic surgery residents and medical students. He also received multiple awards for patient satisfaction scores in/above the 99th percentile nationally.
