He is a senior consultant in the department with 13 years of experience working in different positions in cardiac surgery. He has performed more than 5000 adult cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass ( Total Arterial Bypass LIMA-RIMA Y ) both off-pump and on-pump, Mitral Valve Repairs and Replacement, Aortic Valve Replacements, Bentall's procedures and Valve sparing root replacements for aortic aneurysm and Aortic Dissection, Minimally invasive procedures(ASD, MVR, AVR, CABG), Heart failure surgeries including Heart Transplant.

He completed his M.B.B.S. from Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior. He completed his M.S. (General Surgery) from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. He completed his M.Ch (Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery) from SreeChitraTirunal Institute of Medical Sciences & Technology, Trivandrum. He completed his Observership in Complex Arotic & Minimally Invasive heart surgery from Leipzig heart transplant, Germany. He completed his Fellowship in Adult Cardiac Surgery at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide, Australia.

He worked as Associate Consultant at Kamineni and Mediciti Hospital, Hyderabad. He worked as Consultant - Cardiac Surgeon at CIMS, Ahmedabad. He worked as a Senior Consultant - Cardiac Surgeon at Max Super-speciality Hospital, Patparganj, Delhi.
