Satyen Sharma DPM, MBBS

Dr. Satyen Sharma has been practicing as a Consulting Psychiatrist in Punjab for more than a decade now. He was the Honorary General Secretary of the Indian Association of Private Psychiatry for Punjab and Chandigarh for 4 years and served as the President for 2 years after that. He is also the Vice President (Public Relations) for the Patiala Management Association, where he was earlier serving as the Honorary Secretary.

He is a firm believer in social enterprise and thinks that this is the best way to make a positive contribution to the world. He has had the pleasure of working with a few entities in the field of social enterprise and has been enriched by the experience. His desire to become an angel investor stems from his tenure as an entrepreneur as he is excited by unsolved problems and seeing diamonds in the rough. He feels that he needs to put his energies into ventures which give a deeper meaning to his life.

He is of the opinion that all solutions for living a more fulfilling life have already been created in the world. Now the only responsibility that remains is for the leaders to help evenly distribute them. The entrepreneurial leader is the one who is the best fit to bring forth these solutions.
