Satheesh Kathula, MD is a graduate of Siddhartha Medical College in Vijayawada, India. He completed his internal medicine residency at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. Dr. Kathula is board certified in medical oncology and hematology and is a Diplomate of American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. He is a clinical professor of medicine at Wright State University and was the President of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI). He graduated from Harvard University with Global Healthcare Leaders Program and is certified in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from Stanford University.
Dr. Kathula has been very active in the community for more than 2 decades and served on numerous local and national boards. He has won several awards locally and nationally including Man of the Year award- The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 2018, The Lifetime Achievement Award by the President of United States, and The Inspirational Achiever of 2024 by RAYWA Foundation New York. Dr. Kathula conceptualized and organized Global Healthcare Summit in New Delhi, India to reduce the burden of cancer and heart attacks in 2024.
Dr. Kathula has been treating cancer patients for more than 22 years and has a special interest in lung cancer, blood cancers, and GI cancers.
