Sarit Y. Lesnik Oberstein

Sarit Lesnik Oberstein was born in Amsterdam on September 4, 1967. After mentioning various countries lived she obtained her European Baccalaureate in 1985 at the European School in Bergen (NH). In 1985, she started immediately to study Medicine at Leiden University, where she received her medical degree cum laude in 1992. Continuing medical she went to Great Britain in 1993 for its training ophthalmologist. This she has completed at Moorfields Eye Hospital. In 1995 she exam met for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, and in 2001 she could enroll in the specialist register as an ophthalmologist. Following the training, she has one year fellowship medical retina 'at Moorfields Eye Hospital and followed 18 months vitreoretinal fellowship at The Western Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital. In 2003 she returned to the Netherlands to work as vitreo-retinal surgeon at the Department of Ophthalmology at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam. Since 2013 she has been working at Eye Hospital Sunburst.
