Sarfaraz Ahmad MD, PhD

Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmad is an Assistant Professor at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. He received his Doctor of Philosophy from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (INDIA).

He serves as principal investigator and co-investigator of research projects and collaborates with faculty members on various research studies. Present research and data at national and international conferences and publish research papers as a corresponding author and co-author. Design and characterize polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies and nanobodies against small peptides. Develop and validate several analytical methods (HPLC, LC-MS, and ELISA), write SOPs, and prepare summary reports. Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff and research scientists.

His research interests are General Surgery, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, Cell Biology, and Toxicology.
