Sarah Ziegler PhD

Sarah Ziegler completed her PhD at EBPI in the University of Zurich in 2018 after obtaining a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology at the University of Zurich. In September 2018, Sarah continued working at the EBPI as a postdoctoral fellow and coordinator of the PhD program. Her PhD research focused on prevalence and trends of medical end-of-life decisions and palliative sedation in Switzerland. Her research interests lie in end-of-life chronic disease management and palliative care needs and services of different patient populations to promote the best possible quality of care for terminally ill patients.
