Sarah has been working in private practice since graduating from Latrobe University in 2007. She has worked for sports clinics in Melbourne, Wimbledon Greenwich, and for the British Military of Defense in the United Kingdom. Sarah has been working for LifeCare since 2011. She is currently undertaking her PhD on exercise for multidirectional instability of the shoulder with shoulder specialist Lyn Watson her mentor and supervisor. Through her relationship with Lyn, Sarah has developed a keen interest in treating all types of shoulder injuries, but especially rehabilitation for shoulder instability. Sarah also enjoys treating other injuries such as knee, ankle, hip and back problems.
Sarah aims to finish her PhD in 2016 and continue working with LifeCare and Lyn's shoulder team to provide excellent care to their patients.
Sarah also does casual tutoring and lecturing for the undergraduate physiotherapy degree at Latrobe University, Bundoora, and in her spare time Sarah enjoys running, playing tennis, drawing, horse riding and exploring new and exciting places. Sarah is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Sports Medicine Australia and Shoulder and Elbow Physiotherapist Australasia. She was awarded Membership into the Golden Key International Honour Society in 2004, and has the following publications:
