Sarah Scattolon MD, FRCSC

Dr. Sarah Scattolon is an academic obstetrician and minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at McMaster University. Dr. Scattolon completed her doctorate of medicine at the University of Toronto and her obstetrics and gynecology residency at McMaster University. She has also completed a two-year fellowship in minimally invasive gynecology surgery at McMaster University.

Dr. Scattolon’s practice focuses on complex gynecologic surgery, endometriosis care, fibroids, and low-risk obstetrics. She plays an active role in teaching trainees of all levels and is currently pursuing a master’s in health research methodology with a focus on health services.

Dr. Scattolon’s research interests include optimization of medical and surgical treatments of endometriosis, knowledge translation, and adherence to clinical practice guidelines.
