Dr. Sarah Dugan graduated from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2004. She completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital in 2007 and a Genetics Fellowship at Stanford University in 2009. Before returning to Utah, Dr. Dugan was a clinical geneticist at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Medical Genetics Division at University of Utah.
Dr. Dugan is a full-time clinical geneticist specializing in the diagnosis and care of children with birth defects, learning differences and genetic syndromes. Her research interests include delineation of genetic syndromes, ultimately with the goal of helping to care for children and adults who have these conditions.
