One major focus has led to the publication of a book for mainstream readers. _This Is Your Brain on Birth Control _(also published as How the Pill Changes Everything) explores the neurocognitive impacts of the birth control pill, which she argues can be positive and negative for individual women and society as a whole. In addition to her writing, teaching, and research, Professor Hill has contributed to journal editorial review boards, including the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Evolution and Human Behavior, and Adaptive Human Behavior and Physiology.
