Sarah L. Gaffen PhD

Sarah Gaffen is a Professor of Clinical Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh. He received her Doctor of Philosophy at the University of California. Her laboratory works on understanding the basis for immunity to infections and autoimmunity. Specifically, we are trying to define mechanisms of signal transduction by cytokines and their receptors. Our main focus is the interleukin-17 superfamily of receptors.
