Sarah Freeman, MD, is an assistant professor of internal medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is the director of the Brown Internal Medicine Residency Point-of-Care-Ultrasound (POCUS) program and leads the residency’s procedural simulation program. Dr. Freeman specializes in inpatient care, having worked as an academic hospitalist at Rhode Island Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, and the University of Utah Hospital. She earned a medical degree from Weill Cornell School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine training at Rhode Island Hospital. She received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Brown University.
