Sarah Carter BSc

Sarah Carter has more than 20 years of industry experience. She is currently the Executive Director of Global Study Operations, where she is responsible for overseeing Site and Data Management aspects of Phase 1-4 clinical studies.

She previously served as the Executive Director of Global Clinical Program Management where she led the Cardiovascular and Renal Therapeutic Area, along with the implementation of a global Functional Service Provider model for clinical trial management. Prior to this position, Sarah held several roles within Global Development Operations, from Training, Quality and Standards, to head of the Planning and Platform Services group, which included a two year focus on leading a process improvement initiative to transform the clinical trial delivery platform. Sarah also served as the Amgen representative on the TransCelerate Operating Committee.
