Sara Lynn Wallach MD, MACP

Dr. Sara L. Wallach is the Chair and Program Director of the Department of Medicine at St Francis Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey. Prior to joining the St Francis Medical staff in June 2013, she was a Vice-Chair and Program Director for Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey for 18 years. She served on the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine Council from 2009-2012 and is a former governor of the American College of Physicians New Jersey Chapter. She is the current Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine representative to the American College of Physicians Education and Publication Committee. Dr. Wallach is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College and earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center School of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. In addition to graduate medical education, her interests include thromboembolism, performance improvement, and patient safety.
