Sara Taleb is a postdoctoral associate at Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar with a Ph.D. in Genomics and Precision Medicine from Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). She has a strong biomedical sciences background and extensive experience in virus-related and cancer-related projects, with multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals.
She recently completed a three-year clinical research associate role at Hamad Medical Corporation, where she focused on understanding the immune response of critically ill patients with COVID-19 at multiple levels, using various molecular biology techniques, cell-based assays, and data analysis tools. She also contributed to study design, project management and coordination, data collection, and manuscript writing. She is currently a postdoctoral research associate in biochemistry at Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar, focusing on immuno-proteomics in relation to infectious diseases, sepsis, and diabetes.
