Sara Michelle May MD

Dr. Sara May, a Nebraska native from Waverly, completed her Medical Degree and her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After residency, she did a chief resident year focused on patient safety and quality.

Loving the field of Allergy and Immunology and the ability to treat both children and adults, Dr. May decided to specialize and completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. May was welcomed to Nebraska Medicine in August 2015. She has authored several publications in drug allergy. Dr. May sees patients at Nebraska Medicine’s Village Pointe and as well as patients at the VA Nebraska-Iowa Health Care System.
