Sara Hurren

Sara Hurren is a Registered Nurse who has worked in the speciality field of cancer nursing for over 20 years. Throughout her career, she has worked in many areas in cancer services; these include palliative care, chemotherapy nursing, clinical trials, ambulatory nursing, research, cancer care coordination, nurse management, cancer project management, and nurse education and research. Sara is currently working as a district nurse educator for Cancer Services at the Liz Plummer Cancer Care Centre, Cairns Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. Her goal is to assist cancer services in providing education and training skills to all staff in the area and have access to a range of educational and research opportunities and resources.
