Sara H. Javid MD

Sara Javid, M.D., is a board-certified surgeon at SCCA and a and UW associate professor of Surgery. She has been listed as a Seattle Top Doctor multiple times.

Dr. Javid specializes in the treatment of patients with breast cancer, patients at risk of breast cancer, and patients with benign breast disorders. Her goal is to educate and guide patients toward a personalized decision about how best to manage their breast cancer. She strives to empower each patient to feel that they are taking charge and beating their breast cancer.

Dr. Javid earned her M.D. from Harvard. Her award-winning research examines disparities in treatment received by underrepresented populations. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
