Sara Fernandes-taylor PhD

Sara Fernandes-Taylor, Ph.D. is a Scientist III at the University of Wisconsin Department of Surgery. Sara completed a doctorate in Health Policy at the University of California, Berkeley, and a postdoctoral fellowship in Health Services Research at Stanford University and the VA before joining the Department of Surgery. Sara oversees health services research efforts in Otolaryngology, including mathematical modeling of thyroid cancer and patient-reported outcomes. She secures funding, helps coordinate research fellows and biostatisticians, and conducts data analysis and manuscript writing.
