Sapna Shrikumar PhD

Dr. Sapna Shrikumar, Principal of Moulana College of Pharmacy, Angadippuram P.O., Perinthalmanna, received her Ph. D Degree in “Pharmaceutical Sciences” from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University at Chennai, Tamil Nadu state. She is also HOD of Department of Pharmacognosy. She is having 24 years of experience in the field of teaching and guiding several PG projects related to Pharmacognostic, Phytochemical, Formulation development and standardization by Analytical methods. Her area of Expertise includes:- Herbal Standardization, qualitative & quantitative analysis of drugs using instrumental methods, Phytochemical studies, isolation and characterization of compounds.

Prestigious National Excellence Awards by Global Leaders Foundation at their 15th Conference at Parliament House, New Delhi was awarded to her. Prof.Dr. Sapna Shrikumar M.Pharm, Ph.D was awarded “Prominent Principal Award” by Chief Guest of function Dr.Birendra Singh, Founder of “Sulabh International”, New Delhi and Dr.Valmiki Prasad Singh, Director of World Bank, New York. Former Governor of Sikkim for her contribution to herbal research, excellence in higher education and in view to the immense public welfare activities carried out.

She has received the three best paper awards in the international and national conferences. She has guided more than 25 PG projects which have obtained scholarships from the Tamil Nadu Welfare Fund Association, Government of India and Department of Ayurveda - NSTMIS.
