Dr. Sapna Patel, MD, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She holds the Dr. William Robinson Endowed Chair in Cancer Research and is a leader in clinical and translational cancer therapeutics. Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in 2005 and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado. She went on to complete a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Patel is an expert in melanoma and other advanced cancers, actively engaged in clinical trials and research to advance immunotherapy and combination treatment strategies. Has she authored numerous peer-reviewed papers, published articles, and contributed to efforts to improve outcomes for patients with complex malignancies through both academic scholarship and compassionate clinical care.
