Sanjiv Anant Indurkar MBBS, MD

Dr. Sanjiv Indurkar is a senior medical practitioner from Aurangabad city with over a quarter century professional experience in Diabetology. With MD (Medicine) qualifications, Dr. Indurkar is the Director of Diabetic Care and Research Centre, a centre set up for the first time in Marathwada and Khandesh region in Aurangabad with services focused on patients with Diabetes. Besides hosting the state RSSDI conference in the past, he has also held the significant position of the Chairman of RSSDI. He has spent several years in research activities that include diabetes related CAROLINA and RAMADAN trials.
Having been invited twice on the talk show ‘Hello Doctor’ aired on Doordarshan channel, he has answered a host of viewer’s queries on diabetes. Through his centre, he has conducted several patient education camps and CME programs aimed at providing learning opportunities to physicians and other health care providers. His centre is currently well supported by a qualified dietician and is equipped with all the modern day medical amenities like foot clinic, indoor facilities, ICU back up and a full-fledged Biochemistry Lab.
