Biography :

Dr. Kalva is the chief of Interventional Radiology in the Department of Radiology. He is a world-renowned expert in minimally invasive approaches to treating liver cancer. He graduated from Kurnool Medical College, India. He received radiology training from the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, India and interventional radiology training from the Kovai Medical Center & Hospital, India. Subsequently, he completed his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Imaging and Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He served on the faculty at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital until 2013 when he became the chief of Interventional Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
