Sanghee Yoo MS, PhD

Dr. Yoo holds the position of VP Head of Biology at ImmunoMet Therapeutics Inc. ImmunoMet is focusing on developing small molecules that disrupt or modulate cellular metabolism to (1) inhibit drug resistance cells in cancer, and (2) enhance or suppress immune function by regulating immune cell metabolism. The approach of regulating immune cell metabolism is an emerging area to treat immune related diseases. Dr. Yoo recognized the potential of applying immune metabolism regulation in drug discovery and became one of founders of ImmunoMet Therapeutics. Dr. Yoo has more than 20 years of R&D experiences including drug discovery and development for cancer, pain and cystic fibrosis. Her prior employments include 2 years at HanAll Biopharma in Korea, 1 year at ProQR in Nederland, 12 years at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in San Diego and 3 years at Arcaris in Salt Lake City. She received PhD in Biochemisty from the University of Utah, and BS from Seoul National University, Korea.
