Sandra Akintola

Sandra works as part of the West of England AHSN’s Service and System Transformation team and oversees aspects of project delivery. Her main area of work is supporting the adoption and spread of new care models. Currently, she leads the training of care homes on RESTORE2, a physical deterioration and escalation tool. Sandra joined the AHSN in Dec 2019. Prior to this, she was clinical projects lead for another organization and that role necessitated her involvement with some of AHSN’s patient safety programs. Her background is in nursing and she has held a variety of clinical and managerial roles across acute and community mental health services.
