Samuel A. Macmaster PhD

Samuel A. MacMaster, Ph.D., is the co-founder and Chief Clinical Officer at JourneyPure, an organization with numerous addiction treatment centers in Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, and Mississippi. He is also an associate professor of family and community medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he is actively engaged in research projects focused on treatment access. Dr. MacMaster has written three books and over 70 academic articles related to addiction. He has a long history of working with numerous addiction treatment centers and community-based organizations in the design, development, and evaluation of services for substance using populations.
