Dr. Mansour is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montreal. He is a cardiologist, hemodynamicist and researcher at the University of Montreal Hospital Center - CHUM Cardiovascular Center.

He is also responsible for clinical research and director of the Cell Therapy Program at the CHUM Cardiac Service. He is currently a member of the scientific committee of the CHUM Research Center and a member of the advisory board of the FRSQ.

His research interest lies in the clinical application of bone marrow stem cell transplantation in patients with left ventricular dysfunction.

He is the principal investigator of the first clinical trial in North America testing the feasibility, safety and functional effect of intracoronary injection of CD133 + stem cells in patients with left ventricular dysfunction after acute myocardial infarction.

He is also co-principal investigator of several clinical trials in the field of coronary heart disease and heart failure. Dr. Mansour is the author and co-author of more peer-reviewed publications and more than 50 abstracts.
