Samantha H. Aitchison MD

Dr. Aitchison, board certified in surgery, specializes in renal and pancreas transplantation. She is part of Associates in Transplant and General Surgery along with Stuart R. Geffner, MD, Director of Transplant Surgery, and Harry Sun, MD.

Prior to joining Saint Barnabas, Dr. Aitchison was an attending surgeon at the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Birmingham, AL, while performing her fellowship in abdominal transplant surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, and received a medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY. She has presented her original research at both international and national conventions.
