Samantha Buttemer BHSc, MSc, MD, CCFP, PGY-4

Samantha Buttemer holds an MD from Queen's University and a BHSc from McMaster University. She is pursuing her MSc in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine for her PGY-3 year. She has fostered an interest in public health throughout her years of schooling and is looking forward to applying her medical training to the bigger picture of population-level health. She is particularly interested in bridging the gap between primary care and public health, with a focus on marginalized populations. She is also concentrating on the local opioid issue, working with local partners on education and policy development.
