Samah M. Elaidy, MD, Ph.D.(2012), JMHPE (2019) is an associate professor of Clinical Pharmacology, at the School of Medicine, Suez Canal University (SCU), Egypt. She is holding a Joint Master of Health Professions Education (JMHPE, 2019) with Honor Degree from Maastricht University and Suez Canal University. She is the deputy vice dean for Postgraduate and Research Affairs, the deputy co-director of the Quality Assurance Unit for the Postgraduate Committee, and a working member of the Educational Curricula Committee and Postgraduate Committee in the School of Medicine, SCU. She is a working member of the Egyptian Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. In addition, she was a former member of the Medical Research Committee at SCU and the Young Researchers Committee at SCU previously. Dr. Elaidy is teaching many graduate and undergraduate clinical pharmacology courses at Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing at SCU, and Sinai University, besides previously in Portsaid, and Libyan International Universities. She holds certificates in research methodology, grant writing, and in human resource development in health management and leadership and was awarded a certificate of appreciation for international publications (SCU, 2012-2013). Dr. Elaidy was a speaker and a member of the scientific committee at several national and international conferences and workshops. Her areas of expertise are pulmonary, molecular pharmacology, endocrinology, gastroenterology- and chemo-therapeutics besides nano-biomedical research with published articles and work-in-progress projects.
