Sam Antonios MD, FACP, FHM, CCDS

Dr. Sam Antonios is a board certified internist and practicing hospitalist at Via Christi Hospitals, Wichita KS. He finished his residency in internal medicine at the University of Kansas - Wichita before joining the Via Christi Hospital Medicine group and later serving as the chair of the Hospital Medicine section. He has served as medical director for utilization management and currently is the medical director for information systems, responsible for inpatient EHR implementation and maintenance. He serves as Chair to the HIM committee and is Physician Advisor to the Clinical Documentation Improvement Program and is also ICD-10 Physician Advisor and works closely with the HIM and coding staff to manage DRG denials and improve revenue cycle workflows.
