Salvatore Giorgio Cicirello PharmD

Salvatore is currently Senior Director of Trial Safety Science & PASS in Global Drug Safety and Risk Management (GDSRM) at Celgene (CEL). He has recently moved back from the USA where he was responsible for providing leadership, strategic guidance and subject matter expertise to the PV Innovation established to deliver cutting-edge transformative PV solutions. Prior to joining PV Innovation Salvatore was heading the Case Management Operations and the Trial Safety Operations function at GDSRM International and has also acted as Deputy QPPV.

Salvatore is a Pharmacist by training, he graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies and holds an MSc in Clinical Research from the University of Florence. Prior to joining Celgene in 2006, he has held different roles in the clinical research area at Parexel, and prior to that in one of the Italian Regional Pharmacovigilance Centers.
