Salvation “Salve” Cruz is currently working as a Wound Care Nurse at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City since 2005. She is the External Vice President of the Filipino Nurses Association in the Emirates (FNAE). She is a member of the Filipino Professional Group and Pinoy Moms. She is one of the Facilitators of the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) Abu Dhabi for the year 2012 to 2013. She is a Lecturer for the Local Nursing Board Exam in the Philippines.
In 2009, Salve has completed the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course from the University of Toronto. She received the Best Clinical Nurse Award in 2009 from the Executive nursing leadership, Best Clinical Nurse Award for Medical in 2008 and Best Clinical Nurse Award for Wound Care in 2011. She has been an active member and secretary of the Shared Governance in the Outpatient Department from 2006 to June 2010. She organizes several Wound care symposiums for the Outpatient Department and Family Medicine Clinics.
Salve has completed her BS Nursing Degree from University of the City of Manila (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila) in April 2001 where she received an award of excellence for community nursing. She maintained to be in scholar from secondary to College. She obtained her license from the Philippine Regulatory Board as a Registered Nurse in June 2001. She has worked in Medical-Surgical ward and Emergency Department at the Lung Center of the Philippines.
