Saleema Wani MBBS, MD, FRCOG

Dr. Saleema is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist and Chief of Obstetrics at Corniche Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE. She has served as a lead member of several clinical and administrative committees including the Policy and Procedure, Labor Ward Forum, Risk Management, Health and Safety, Audit and Graduate Medical Education committees. She is also a member of the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi Professional Qualification requirement committee, Licensing and clinical case review committee, and Expert reviewer of Higher Committee of UAE Medical Liability Board.

She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology UK reference committee, and is an examiner for the Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (MRCOG) written examination and the Objective Structured Clinical Examination. Dr Saleema serves as an Instructor for BLS, ACLS, PROMPT, ALSO, Basic and advanced CTG courses. She is one of the champions for Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) and contributed towards securing JCIA accreditation for the Corniche Hospital and implementation of Electronic medical records.
