Salam Al-sam Mpil, PhD, FRCPath, MB ChB

Dr Al Sam has dedicated a great deal of time to developing state-of-the-art reporting techniques to speed up how clinicians use technology to aid the findings of blood and tissue tests. He is also a member of the International Academy of Oncology and the British Medical Association. His areas of specialist expertise include; Breast Pathology, Urological Pathology and Lymphoreticular Pathology.

Throughout his career Dr Al Sam's acheivements have been recognised by a number of awards. He is pioneering in his work to allow clinicians to report the findings from a pioneer in the field of voice recognition reporting and in 2007 won a Health Enterprise East Award for Innovation.

Mr Al-Sam is a member of the national team for breast cancer screening programme and of UK-NEQAS and has recently been appointed as an examiner by the Royal College of Surgeons.
