Graduated at King Saud University (Faculty of Medicine and Surgery) in 1997, and completed Residency Training at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in 2005. Took up Epilepsy and EEG Fellowship in London Health Science Centre (LHSC) at University of Western Ontario, Canada from 2005-2007, and Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (FMRI) Fellowship in LHSC and Robarts Research Center at University of Western Ontario from January-October 2007. Consultant Neurologist and Epileptologist in the Department of Neurosciences, and Director of Epilepsy and EEG Fellowship Training Program at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, joint appointment as Assistant Professor in Alfaisal University, and Vice President of Epilepsy Support and Information Center, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Have interests on Human Brain Mapping via extra-operative cortical stimulation, Functional MRI and DTI; Language and memory Studies using fMRI Paradigms designing for fMRI in research projects; Super-impositions and 3D rendering of different imaging modalities. Presented more than 50 presentations in various conferences and organized a series of Year Epilepsy Update.
