Safa Mohamed Elkhidir RN

Mrs. Safa Elkhidir is a palliative care Nurse at Tawam Hospital, Al Ain. Originally from Sudan, she grew up in UAE and has received her undergraduate education in Al Ain. She has received her B.S in Nursing from Metropolitan University in Denver, Colorado USA. She has also received her Certificate of Pain Management from the University Of Southern Indiana.

She has worked as a registered nurse for a year at Denver Palliative and Hospice Care, in Denver, Colorado as well as a charge nurse for another year before she accepted a position as Director of care delivery for 50 beds at HCR ManorCare of Denver. After her six-years career as a palliative and hospice nurse, Mrs. Safa decided to move to UAE, where she accepted a position first at SKMC in 2014 then transferred to Tawam Hospital in 2015 and now is working as a Palliative Care outreach nurse for oncology and non-oncology patient. Moreover, to her B.S in Nursing, Mrs. Safa also holds a B.S degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Associate of Applied Science in engineering graphics/architecture from Metropolitan University, in Denver, Colorado USA.
