Saeed Althani Alfalasi MD, FRCSC Ortho

Dr. Saeed Althani MBBS, FRCSC, has extensive expertise in Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine and Joint Reconstruction. His knowledge ranges from early cartilage injury to the need for a full joint replacement.

He began obtaining his wealth of knowledge in medical school at King Faisal University where he graduated in 1993. He eventually went on to receive his Orthopedic Residency training from the University of Toronto and FRCS from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2004. Throughout his career, he worked in UAE University - College of Medicine and Health Science from 1996 till 2016. Currently, he works as Consultant Orthopedic, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine and Joint Reconstruction in Mediclinic City Hospital. Since 2013 he is a Medical Director and owner of Orthocure Medical Center.

Dr. Althani is the President of Emirates Orthopedic Society, Chairperson UAE AO Chapter, member of the Arab Board Orthopedic Examination Committee and AOTME Education Committee Chairman. Through the years he is an international speaker in the field of orthopedics, especially shoulder and knee surgeries.
