Dr. Sabine Vogler has been head of the then newly created Department of Pharmaceutical Economics since September 2016. Prior to that, she had been the focal point responsible for pharmaceutical economics and drug system research at the GOG since 2006. She also manages the WHO Collaborating Center for Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement, which has been established at the GÖG since 2011. She was a co-founder of the Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Information Network (PPRI) in 2005.
Sabine Vogler holds a doctorate in social sciences and economics. Before joining the OBIG, the predecessor institution of the GÖG, in 1995 she worked at the Department of Social Policy of the Vienna University of Economics and Business as a research assistant. In autumn 2017 she was a Visiting Fellow at the University of Bologna.
