Saamir A. Hassan MD

Dr. Saamir A. Hassan joined the faculty at MD Anderson in 2011. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiology, the Associate Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory, and as the Patient Safety and Quality Officer for the Department of Cardiology. Dr. Hassan received his MD from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He also completed his internal medicine residency as well as his cardiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Hassan is board certified in Cardiology and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography.
