Saakje Mulder

Saakje Mulder of Ketlik has been appointed a new member of the board of commissioners of Omrop Fryslan. The council also consists of chairman Ton Baas and Ger Jaarsma. Mulder succeeds Sandra van Gaalen, who served as commissioner from 2010 to 2018. Mulder, born on 21 August 1961 in Wolvega, has been working as director/manager of Lifelines BV in Groningen since 2015. Before that, she was director/manager at Sport Fryslân in Heerenveen from 2009 to 2015. Mulder studied at the Agricultural University in Wageningen and at the VU Medical Center in Amsterdam. If chairman Baas is pleased with Mulder's appointment: "In Saakje Mulder we found a person who meets the profile we had sketched for this position. We as a board of commissioners are very involved. Especially her experience as a director/manager at organizations that work at the intersection of the public and private sectors fit in well with the developments and ambitions of our Omrop.
