S. Scott Tapper MD, FACS

S. Scott Tapper, M.D. is double board certified in Vascular Surgery and General Surgery. He also holds the RPVI certification which distinguishes his skill in non-invasive vascular testing. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of every important vascular surgery society.

He was educated at Brown University where he graduated with Honors in Biology. He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and then went to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for his general surgery residency training which was followed by a Vascular Fellowship at Vanderbilt. His longtime interest in venous disease began during a year of surgical training at Flinders Medical Center in Adelaide, Australia.
