Ryan Thomas Shores BSN, MSN, CRNA, DNP

Dr. Ryan T. Shores, CRNA, DNP is a certified registered nurse anesthetist with 11 years of experience. He began his career in Gainesville, Florida working for two years as a cardiac surgery recovery nurse. He currently serves as a staff CRNA at UF Health Jacksonville, Florida. As a graduate of the University of Florida with a BS in communication studies, He began teaching before his transition to the healthcare field where he taught multiple subjects as a High School Teacher. In 2002, he received his ASN from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Florida, and after two years of RN ICU work, he attended Florida International University where he earned his MSN in 2006. He received his DNP from the University of North Florida in 2015. He has held a faculty position at UNF for 10 years where he currently serves as the program’s associate program director. He also served as interim program director for Florida State University’s program during the summer of 2016.
