Ryan Rodriguez PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Rodriguez is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Pharmacy Drug Information Group (DIG). Prior to joining the DIG, Dr. Rodriguez received his PharmD degree from the University of Florida (UF) and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency and a PGY2 specialty residency in drug information.

His primary responsibilities involve authoring drug class reviews for a variety of drug classes used in acute and chronic disease management, responding to clinicians’ drug information requests, and coordinating courses in drug information and teaching for UIC PharmD students and pharmacy residents in the Chicagoland area.

He has lectured on topics including biostatistics, systematic error and internal validity, formulary management, and medical literature searching. His publications have focused on evidence-based practice, including availability and indexation of pharmacy literature, clinical trial design, systematic error, and systematic reviews of clinical topics at the UIC DIG frequently asked questions website.
