Dr. Cole is a primary care sports medicine physician who specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of sports medicine and musculoskeletal concerns. This includes concussion care and management. He has experience working with all types of patients ranging from professional athletes to those just looking to remain active. Originally from St. Louis, MO, Dr. Cole has always been an avid sports fan and played multiple sports growing up. He attended the University of Missouri where he received his undergraduate degree in Biology. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he went on to medical school at the University of Cincinnati. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. From there, he completed his fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. During his fellowship year he served as team physician for DePaul University. He also helped provide game and training camp coverage for both The Chicago Bulls and White Sox.

Dr. Cole has spent the last 5 years serving as a team physician for Northwestern University. There he provided care for multiple teams including: Men’s Basketball, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Volleyball, Softball, Men’s Swimming and Wrestling. During his time at Northwestern he also helped care for over 1,200 club athletes spanning almost all sporting endeavors.
