Ryan K. Lee MD, MBA, FACR

Dr. Ryan K. Lee is a distinguished diagnostic radiologist, neuroradiologist, and healthcare leader currently serving as Chair of the Department of Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is widely recognized for his expertise in artificial intelligence in medical imaging, healthcare quality improvement, patient safety, and radiology innovation.

Dr. Lee earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completed his internship at Crozer-Keystone Health System. He subsequently completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Rochester and a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his medical training, he earned an MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester with concentrations in healthcare management and finance.

Before joining UNMC, Dr. Lee held several leadership positions at Einstein Healthcare Network, including Chair of Radiology, Vice Chair of Quality and Safety, Section Chief of Neuroradiology, and MRI Medical Director. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives focused on imaging quality, workflow optimization, radiation safety, and the integration of AI-driven technologies into clinical practice.

An active contributor to academic medicine and national radiology organizations, Dr. Lee has participated in numerous professional committees and educational initiatives dedicated to advancing radiology practice and innovation. His clinical and research interests continue to center on neuroradiology, healthcare technology, patient-centered imaging, and the future application of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
